Unrestricted Endowment: Fundraising Event Matching Grant Program
Purpose
To provide matching funds to a Phillips County non-profit for an eligible fundraising event
Program Schedule
- Applications are accepted throughout the year
- Application must be submitted prior to the fundraising event
- Application must be submitted by the last day of the month to be considered that month
Eligibility
Non-profits, government entities, schools, and churches.
Areas of Interest
- Public space: enhancement, renovation or upgrade of a public space, park, or recreation area
- Health Care: a healthcare initiative for a specified group or all Phillips County residents
- Education: a non-traditional education initiative
- Public Health and Safety: a project to improve public health, safety, or security for a specified group
- Other category: a project designed to enhance the quality of life or address an issue of concern not covered under another category
We do not support grants to:
- Organizations that discriminate with regard to age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, national origin, religious affiliation, or presence of a disability.
- Activities or purchases that occur prior to grant decisions
- Endowments, debt reduction, or general operating expenses in connection with recurring community services
- Individuals
- Political activities
- Religious organizations when funds would be used in whole or in part to further the organization’s religious purposes.
- Expendable items that are a major portion of a grant’s costs or the focus of a project.
- Annual campaigns, events, tickets, and “Match Day” programs.
- Re-granting programs or service club projects
- National and statewide organizations that cannot demonstrate a local presence.
Amount : $500 limit
Follow-up Report
A follow-up report is required of each grant recipient.
