PCCF End of Year Review
PCCF Reflects on a Year of Growth and Impact
As the new year begins, the Phillips County Community Foundation (PCCF) is reflecting on a remarkable 2025 marked by generous community support and meaningful impact across Phillips County. Building on that momentum, PCCF looks forward to continuing its mission in 2026 to strengthen all aspects of life in our county.
Leadership Transition
In May 2025, longtime Executive Director Morris Engle retired after years of dedicated service. Ron Boeve, Jr. was selected as the new Executive Director. Ron trained part-time during the latter half of the year while finalizing the sale of his share of Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel. His transition ensures continued strong leadership and community engagement for the foundation.
Grants and Community Investments
During the last six months of 2025, PCCF helped fund a wide range of projects, including:
- Equipment for the Shadow Riders Fast Draw Club
- Winter meat supplies for the Phillips County Food Pantry
- A slushy machine for the Phillips County Fair Building
- Generators for emergency shelter use in Logan and backup power for the Agra water tower
- A new handicap accessible ramp at the Phillipsburg Hospice office
- Development of a new city park in Logan
- Replacement bleachers at the Kirwin Lions Club arena
- Repairs to the 9-11 Memorial at the Courthouse lawn
Mini-grants also supported local schools, childcare, healthcare, arts, and library initiatives throughout the county.
Year-End Giving
At the close of 2025, PCCF distributed additional grants from its Unrestricted Endowment Fund to:
- All six city libraries in Phillips County
- The Phillips County Food Bank
- The Majestic Theatre Foundation
- A newly established fund to address special student needs
Looking Ahead
Thanks to the generosity of Phillips County residents, PCCF continues to grow its endowment, ensuring lasting support for future community needs. The foundation extends sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed in 2025. Together, we are building a stronger future for Phillips County.
